Easter

We celebrated Easter with Baba this year. She came to visit during her spring break and we put her to work removing wallpaper and painting our dining room and Reid's room. Reid's room turned out so, so cute, and I'll post pics once there's not a big mound of junk in the middle of the room.

Baba had to head home on Sunday, but we had an Easter Egg Hunt before she left.

I was hoping to get a shot of her with all three grandkids, but the other two will have no part in anything that requires 1. Stillness, 2. Cooperation. My little Reid only has a few months of cooperation left in him before he's able to toddle about, too (wah!).

And they're off!

On the hunt

He really wanted to open every egg he found RIGHT THEN to see what was inside. I don't think he'd fare well at a egg hunt where his sister isn't his (VERY generous) opponent.

I tried to get a good picture of them together, but Hayden, obviously, had already begun indulging in his loot and the "mouthful of chocolate" look isn't so flattering.
