Family & Friends

We've just wrapped up 10 days of company, and the poor kids are in withdrawal from all the attention. Claire keeps asking who's coming tomorrow.

Nana, Papa, and Uncle Adam arrived first, followed shortly after by my aunt and uncle from Maine (Maine-ards, if you ask Justin). My cousins, fellow Boston-dwellers, came up on Saturday, and we had a little family reunion.

While they were here, we took Nana, Papa, and Adam over to the new house and hung out on the playground at Claire's future elementary school. It's called Kathy Bates Elementary. If you're wondering what kind of town names an elementary school after the lead actress in Misery (which we were, too), we learned that it's also the name of the woman who wrote "America the Beautiful."

The day after the family left, Aunt Lesley arrived.

Her only wish for her whole trip was to go into the city...

And eat at a noodle bar called Wagamama. It proved to be worth the hassle of carting three kids into the city.

We had a great time with Lesley, even if she did try to smuggle this one out in her suitcase.

I can see why she'd want to smuggle him out - he is so cute!

I can't believe you were able to have a second son as cute as Hayden was. Wow. You and Justin make beautiful babies. When are you having your next one? ; )
