Carnival Fun!

Justin and I have fallen in love with a town just north of Boston called Winchester. Every time we go, we find another reason to want to live there. The houses are old and awesome, the downtown is cute and quaint, it's close to the city...and, oh yeah, and you have to sell your soul to live there. We've pretty much decided we're okay with that, though. We drove through Winchester this weekend just because we like to pretend we live there, and downtown had been taken over by a carnival (see...I told you it's a great place!). The kids were thrilled (well, Claire was at least), and we had a great time in our future hometown.

Claire and her noble steed.

Hayden hates his noble steed. Funny story...when Justin was a kid, he refused to ride the horses on the carousel - he would only sit on the benches. What kind of kid picks the bench over a horse? My husband...and apparently my son, too.

This was a crazy big slide coming off of a pirate ship. This kid has NO fear whatsoever.

A toddler version of one of those rocking boats. This one doesn't go upside down, but she would've been thrilled if it had.

Heading off to Sturgis.

This expression sums up Hayden's thoughts on the day.

She was jabbering about wanting ice cream and then suddenly stopped. We turned around and saw this.

And this.
